Affiliates have hardly had a breather after the hullabaloo caused by this February’s SiGMA, and now they have to rev up and prepare for another magnificent show, Affiliate World Dubai. Yes, you got it right: this year, the conferences are held separately, though the destination remains the same.
For the time being, however, the conference is out of focus; in this article, we are covering its satellite events that can shape your perspective, spur your resourcefulness, or inspire you to achieve new goals.
March 3, AFF FIT 5km run
What’s an affiliate marathon of events without an actual marathon? VerdeAds proposes a 5-kilometer run along the luxurious sandy shores of Kite Beach, stretching across the Persian Gulf. No pressure. No competition. Just five kilometers of positive vibes and even better people. At least, that’s how the organizers describe it.
Well, it may not be everyone’s idea of fun (it’s no laughing matter — the start is scheduled for 8:45 am!), but the most interesting guests always show up. Or they showed up at similar runs during other conferences. In other words, get your legs moving, get your blood boiling, and get your chance to network with prominent industry leaders without annoying formalities.

Another event taking place on the same day is TTmeetup Village, hosted in 6 villas in a lush green oasis right in the middle of Dubai’s concrete jungle — the garden complex NAS House. As a matter of fact, it’s the classic affiliate meetup everyone knows: drinks, food, a laid-back party vibe, and hours of networking. What is Dubai for you? If the Persian Gulf is the first thing that comes to mind, consider the meetup organized by ClickBid. The VerdeAds team is back — yes, the very same team that kicked off the article with the 5-kilometer run. But they aren’t delusional: they understand that a jog at 8 a.m. isn’t everyone’s idea of fun, so there’s something more conventional, an event we’re enticed to call a coffee party.
This coffee party starts at 9:30 and ends at 11:00; no double entendre meant: you just grab a cup of coffee and network with anyone you want. One other thing: you can attend even if you skipped the 5-kilometer run. Stop by the beachside café Common Ground, take in the breathtaking views, and prepare for the day ahead. No scheduled talks or presentations — just coffee and casual connection, without any brand-pushing.

March 3, Prime Circle Padel Tournament
The 5-kilometer run wasn’t for everyone, true. But there’s something that falls into the “even-more-not-for-everyone-kinda-story” — a private padel tennis tournament. First of all, this event is designed exclusively for intermediate and advanced players from C+ to B level, and beginners are not eligible. Then, the number of participants must not exceed 32.
So, who should attend? Any proficient padel player who’s eager to network with the most prominent figures of affiliate marketing — and anyone who wants to upgrade their padel skills to level B. Or those whose hobby happens to overlap with the hobbies of people who run the industry. By the way, the tournament is a paid event: the entrance fee is 300 dirhams. If you feel a little embittered, here’s what can sweeten the pill: you’re competing for a prize of 10K dirhams! You know, if networking doesn’t work out, at least you’ll have fun. Lunch is included, and the tournament wraps at 3:00 p.m.

If you have been craving a fine dining experience, that’s certainly your next stop. On March 4, Datsteam arranges a Selection event at the luxurious restaurant. The secret venue is divided into several zones, which gradually flow into one another. In other words, there’s enough space for everyone: networking lovers, party animals, or quiet witnesses who came to relax with a cocktail in hand.

March 4, AW Ecom After Hours – Dubai Networking Drinks
Day two is capitalizing on the business vibe, and the first event of the day highlights the mood... Or doesn’t it? After all, there are “Drinks” in the title, right? Well, let it be: it’s not a karaoke night with everyone who's anyone — on the contrary, it’s a business dinner. The drinks are available, but consider them a tool that steers a smooth conversation into a smoother direction.

March 4, Ecom Scalers Event
It doesn’t really matter what happens here at the party. How come? Because it’s situated on the 50th floor of the Aura Sky Pool hotel. Yup, that’s the one. Yup, on the artificially made island in the shape of a palm. Long story short, this is one of the most attractive places in Dubai with a view previously unseen — previously unheard of. That’s enough to hurry up and sign up for the party. On a more serious note, however, the organizers promise to provide uninterrupted networking — food and drinks are included for free.
At the same time, you won’t be able to hit the floor like mad. On the official site, the organizers warn potential attendees that security will be present and that you must remove yourself from the list if you have been approved but fail to arrive.

Ecom nation, unite!.. Or something along those lines. There’s a special event for experts from the e-commerce niche.
And we’d love to elaborate, but here’s the catch: we can’t. No, we literally can’t: it’s all so clandestine that the only picture you can fish out from the landing page is an odd photo that clarifies nothing. Then, there’s an inscription: Hosted by Mutual Fulfillment, More Than Scaling, Oxwell, IncHub & Unlimited Scaling at Indigo Hotel. Free food, free drinks, casual atmosphere, ecom affiliates — that’s what they promise to deliver. Ah, and a trip to China. Why China? How China? Where in China? No idea. You’ll have to see for yourself.

The previous photo featured a gung-ho guy; the current one features nothing but a lovely sunset. Or a sunrise. Can’t say for sure, but considering the fact that the party lasts from 19:00 to 22:00, that’s probably a sunset. So, what do we expect from such a party? Those who only read the title hope for a billionaires group event. Those who examine descriptions can grasp the real state of things: it’s an offline meeting for the organizers’ Telegram chat. Something very local, but also something very free — why not give it a shot?..

March 5, Affiliate White Sensation Dubai
Now, that’s something that fits the bill! First, you have dinner in a grand venue — the luxurious Treehouse restaurant. Second, there’s refined alcohol. Third, the afterparty goes hard! Yes, a satellite event has a satellite event, which has... no, we won’t triple that. The world’s not ready yet. Anyway, the organizers combined a dinner and an afterparty, so you have the classic formula two in one.
But that’s not all. The entire event is free of charge. Well, the party admission is free if you sign up; the dinner requires a VIP ticket. The Affiliate White Sensation team is an absolute pro, so we’d vouch for them.

March 5, AW Dubai Millionaire Group Event
Billionaires have their own party, now, fellow millionaires, line up!.. Oh. Wait.
That’s not a different party — that’s literally the same thing as it was yesterday, arranged by the same team, described in the same words. The only difference is the picture, and the fact that a certain Baseem Najjar turned billionaires into millionaires in a span of just one evening (we joke because we aren’t billionaires, obviously).

March 6, POINT DUBAI
Last but not least — that’s how we can describe the private dinner arranged by POINT. No dancing, no speaking, no selling — just a gathering where people can talk, discuss matters at hand, and meet potential partners. There’s a chance that moderators will accept your application.
